Tell us who you are and how you would describe your music?
My name is Carlos Fabre, and I am currently working on my solo project, Bass Ready. Bass Ready is a unique hip hop rap project that emphasizes authenticity and creativity, blending multiple genres including electronic, metal, and rap. I personally create and perform all the music, using a bass to drive the flow, complemented by synths and drums.
What is your latest project and can you share a few words about it?
The project, titled Death Tattoo, reflects my deep appreciation for tattoo culture and my fascination with themes of death and demons, all woven into a sci-fi narrative with a genuine life perspective. Influences for this project include Filth, Lil Peep, Brennan Savage, As I Lay Dying, Varials, Knocked Loose, Dirty South Trap, and SKELER. I believe I have tapped into a new, unique sound and genre.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Moving forward, I intend to deepen this project with darker elements, incorporating metal-influenced screaming vocals while maintaining a lyrical reflection inspired by Shahmen.
