Through “She is Mighty”, the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts alumni aims to empower individuals to embrace their true selves unapologetically, reminding them of the beauty and strength found in diversity.
Or as she says, “Sometimes all her [Flo] magnificent qualities have brought struggle, and people have tried to shoot her down because of them, which reminded me of an endangered animal that gets hunted for its beauty and rarity. This is illustrated in the lyrics “hold the phone, don’t shoot that gun, she’s the only one”. This is my caution to the rest of the world, not to dim her light or you’ll live to regret it.”
With an upcoming mixtape on the horizon, Molly promises listeners an enchanting blend of old-school jazz influences and modern sensibilities. Drawing inspiration from her old jazz, soul and blues roots, Molly’s music transports listeners to a world of timeless melodies and soul-stirring vocals. “She is Mighty” sets the tone for the project, inviting listeners on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
