Kollision Course unveils “Marmelade”: a sweet, feverish burst of rock for the restless

After turning heads with their debut album Ether’s Closure (2023), Kollision Course return with “Marmelade,” a blistering new track where grunge’s raw voltage meets the tender haze of adolescent memories.

Built on overdriven guitars, addictive hooks, and a streak of urban melancholy, Marmelade distills the spirit of early-2000s youth—back-alley laughter, fleeting romances, and moments that glow brighter in hindsight. Mixed by La Canopée Studio, the song leaps between fury and brightness, carving out the band’s unmistakable identity: somewhere between Nirvana, Sonic Youth, and Stone Temple Pilots, reimagined through a distinctly Parisian lens.

The accompanying music video pushes that energy further—a DIY blend of punk grit and wistful nostalgia, raw yet strangely poetic.

Hailing from Narbonne and now based in Paris, Kollision Course—Aristide (vocals, guitar), Louis (drums), Nico (bass), and César (guitar)—are fast becoming one of the most exciting new forces in France’s independent rock scene, a band built to set stages ablaze.
