Welcome to our redaction! Tell us who you are and how you started to make music?

What’s good y’all?! I go by BHBeats & I’m an independent producer/musician former MC VP. I started making music when I was around 8, playing the drums at home most likely annoying my parents hah. For a short time, at age 11, I was in a local band playing small gigs/family parties filling in for their bassist.

What inspires you to create music?

Whenever I’m producing, certain Sonic tones and melodies will have me subconsciously rhyming in my head. As soon as I notice this, I know the beat is done and ready for the artist.

Do you have a specific creative process?

I usually have to be in a good headspace to create the sonics I want. I’ll go ride my motorcycle if I can’t get there. If you ride you know…but Candles & cannabis is a must. Everything else just comes without much thought.

How would you describe your music?

I release music weekly on my website. Most of my vibes are dark instrumentals or somewhere close to that realm. Although I do something everyone would love

What do you plan for the future?

Just keeping it a day at a time. Definitely new music with great artists & sync licensing deals but I try not to get too ahead of myself since life is full of surprises. I would say just remaining mindfully balanced & healthy
