Macro/micro Delivers Exciting New Album ‘A.fter I.ntelligence’

Macro/micro surprised listeners with his new release “A.fter I.ntelligence”. This album explores humanity’s relationship with artificial intelligence, but it doesn’t stop there. From the opening moments, you can hear how intentional each part of the production is to the final project.

Macro/micro also looks beyond the traditional structure of songs, relying on the production aspect rather than lyrics. This aspect stuck out the most while listening to the album, allowing you to let your mind follow the story, but also catering to your own relationship with artificial Intelligence.

His use in collaborations is what sets this album especially apart from others. Benjamin Jared Miller and Veronika Coassolo add to the core meaning of the album without overwhelming listeners. Their contribution only adds to the feeling of darkness and uncertainty in the album.

Going into ‘Clicks (Prologue),’ it almost feels like a door unlocking, with all the added sounds giving the impression of a mechanical tone. This production morphs throughout the album, with sharper percussion for darker energy or softer electronics to pull listeners away.

This album takes electronics to a new level, not only using modern ideology and progression but also using sound in a way that psychologically connects to listeners. This album is a way to reflect on yourself while also getting to enjoy the art Macro/micro has created.
